This ministry stretches our kids. It gets them out of their comfort zones. They focus on building relationships and must face difficult truths about generational poverty. The layers of learning and faith are deep. Our kids see the face of God in the people of Camp Washington, and they are changed.

 NOW RECRUITING SUMMER STAFF!

Washington UCC is recruiting for Summer Program Staff to work with children from Cincinnati's urban core in an enrichment program.  Staff will prepare meals, lead arts & crafts, recreation, reading and attend field trips with the children and volunteers.  Program runs from June 2 through July 25, with a vacation week for July 4.  This is a great opportunity for rising seniors or high school graduates and young adults.  Average 23 hours per week (Sun-Thurs) for $12 per hour. In 1970, WUCC—on the verge of closing down—made a commitment to Camp Washington. As we celebrate 50 years of vibrant, impactful, dedicated ministries, we face the difficult questions regarding how we can go another fifty. Come and see what God has in store!
