United Church of Christ
Washington UCC is part of The United Church of Christ, a community of faith that seeks to respond to the Gospel of Jesus in word and deed.
The UCC was founded in 1957 as the union of several different Christian traditions: from the beginning of our history, we were a church that affirmed the ideal that Christians did not always have to agree to live together in communion.
Our motto - "that they may all be one" - is Jesus' prayer for the unity of the church. The UCC is one of the most diverse Christian churches in the United States.

Closer to home, Washington UCC is part of the Southwest Ohio Northern Kentucky Association (SONKA). There are 99 UCC congregations in SONKA. We range as far north as Sidney, Ohio, and from as far east as Hammersville, Ohio, to as far west as Harrison, Ohio. We cover three counties in Northern Kentucky and 13 counties in Ohio.

Still closer to home, Washington UCC is one of 13 churches in the River Valley Covenant Cluster. There are 8 Covenant Clusters within SONKA that work in ministry together. These Clusters are comprised of churches that are geographically close to each other. They link to each other as well as to the other Clusters to engage in common ministry and mission.
