Washington United Church of Christ believes that the church is not confined to the space in which we gather on Sunday morning, but rather it is alive in each person, wherever they are on life's journey. It is this belief that inspires our many outreach ministries.

Residents of Camp Washington face many challenges in their daily lives: 53% have never graduated from high school, 40% of Camp Washington's Households have an annual income of less than $15,000, 35% live below the federal poverty level. The outreach programs of Washington UCC assist
residents in facing these challenges and meeting their human needs.

Our ministries vary. They include the Camp Cupboard and Closet - a freestore and food pantry, Kids Café - a free weekly meal, Street Feeds, a Thanksgiving Program, Christmas Program, and Back to School Program.

It takes many hands to administer these worthwhile programs and it is through the volunteer and financial support of many churches, organizations, and individuals that we are able to help so many. Thank You to all those who help us in sharing the love of God with our neighbors in need!
