Homework Club is an after-school tutoring program designed to assist neighborhood students in increasing their reading, writing, math, and life skills. Each student is paired with a volunteer tutor, so that they receive one-on-one attention.
Homework Club runs Monday through Thursday during the school year, in the church fellowship hall. Students and tutors are invited to share a snack at 3:40 and homework help is from 4:00-5:30.

How to join Homework Club
- Homework club accepts up to 25 students per year.
- Students must be in grades 1-8 and make a commitment to attend regularly and work hard academically.
- Students interested in joining should contact the Homework Club Coordinator via email or at 541-7757 ext 4 to apply.
How to Volunteer
-
You are invited to come and share your knowledge with a student one day a week. As much as it is possible, tutors will be matched with the same student each week in an effort to build a relationship with that student. Volunteering at the Homework Club is a rewarding way to impact a child's life.
-
We are looking for high energy people with a love for and patience with kids, an ability to hold students accountable to procedures and expectations, and a good sense of humor.
