The Camp Cupboard and Closet is a free store that gives clothing, household items, and food to neighborhood residents. The store distributes 900 food bags annually, providing four to five supplemental meals to 75 community families and individuals monthly. The store also provides clothing, household items and furniture to 150 individuals and families monthly. The Camp Cupboard and Closet is open Tuesday and Saturday from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. Food Bags are distributed on the fourth Tuesday and following Saturday of each month.

Who is eligible to come to the Camp Cupboard and Closet?

•  All are welcome to come "shop" for clothing or household items.
•  Food bags are distributed to those individuals and families living within parts of the 45225 and 45214 zip codes. Individuals seeking food assistance must be able to show proof of residency. This may be in the form of a rent receipt or utility bill. Qualifying individuals may receive one food bag per month.

How to donate or volunteer

• The success of The Camp Cupboard and Closet depends upon the donations of generous individuals, churches, and groups. We accept donations of food, cleaning supplies, new or gently used clothing, household items, furniture, and appliances. Donations may be brought 9-ll a.m., Tuesdays and Saturdays. If you wish to donate to those in need, please contact Ann Osterfeld or call the church at (513) 541-7757.
• Volunteers are needed to sort donated items and to staff the store. Whether you are interested in a one-time volunteer experience or would like to become a "regular" volunteer, your time and talents are welcomed! No experience is required, as training is provided.
